With bilingual fluency in Spanish-English, he is fully proficient in arguing before courts and tribunals in both languages. This also enables him to effectively develop arguments and communicate and interpret complex information to clients and close cultural gaps across jurisdictions.

Ivan holds a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Miami and two Master of Law Degrees in International Arbitration and Alternative Dispute Resolution from the University of Miami and The Ohio State University. Aside from his unique understanding of the judicial systems of Venezuela and Latin America, he is a published author with extensive knowledge of transnational dispute management, public international law, international commercial and investment arbitration, and litigation.

Ivan is admitted to practice law in Florida and Venezuela and is the Regional Coordinator for the Americas for Young ICCA. With his breadth of experience and expertise, Ivan’s personalized approach is tailored to understanding and meeting his clients’ legal needs to best serve their interests.
