Ricardo Ramones has a prestigious legal career with over 20 years’ experience in criminal and civil law as a defense attorney in Venezuela. His in-depth expertise in the legal and judicial systems of Venezuela enables him to represent clients at the highest levels. As a native of Venezuela, he is knowledgeable of the traditional legal customs and expectations of attorneys practicing in Latin American countries, and offers consultative advice on matters of criminal and civil law to his North American counterparts.

Ricardo has defended his clients in some of hard-fought cases involving antitrust laws, partition, fraud, money laundering and corruption cases. He has prepared, argued and won cases before first and second degree courts and up to the highest supreme tribunal court in Venezuela. Ricardo earned a legal degree in 2000 and continued his postgraduate studies with a Master of Science in Criminology and has completed studies for the Doctor of Criminal Law. He is licensed to practice law in Venezuela and serves as a valuable resource in navigating the complex litigation and judicial processes in Latin American countries.
